New Beginnings For 2007

Maybe this year will bring new life to this group. It's pretty lonley playing by myself. But I do enjoy my Thematic Bridge Collecting. Maybe for the fun of it you can visit the links and see what's out there. Since this site is not all that active it may be a good opportunity to participate here and not get bombarded with all the other spam stuff that you see on other group listings.

So please drop by and at least say hello.

Thank to All

Out and About

It's been a long time since my last post. I'm still alive and well doing other things like woodworking. Haven't given up on stamp collecting. Just taking a respet and dabbling with the idea of starting an exhibit on the 1947 Air Mail issue SC#36 Bay Bridge. The Cover material has been qiute ellusive and not much is to be had other than First Day Covers. So needless to say the hunt is still on.

I also managed to get things up and running again with all my web pages and links. Take a look and revisit them.

Blog Review by Glassine Surfer

It was great to receive a review of my blog from the Glassine Surfer.

Mind you my Blog is static at times (Most Times) but as a hobbyist things get done when time permits. Jobs and Honey Do lists take precedence so when I get time to spend at my hobby I get totally immersed in it. I know what I'll be doing when I retire though. I'll give you Three guesses first Two won't count. Yup you guessed right.

BTW Do check out the links.

Blais N Stamps Web Store

My auction site (Blais N Stamps Auctions) has a web store section where one can set up a Web Store.
I presentaly have a Web Store set up which has fixed cost lots for sale.
null
(Blais N Stamps Shop)
I find it's a good way to list stuff for sale as you don't have to relist items after auctions close.
The Auction site has a nominal fee for opening a Web Store. So if you are interested you should check it out.

My Bridge Exhibit

I finally got my Photo Gallery up and running. The learning curve is still quite steep. But I’m learning things as I go.
Here is the link to the Gallery.
Let me know what you think of the Exhibit.

Well I just finished updating my Web Stores Module to my auction site. I hope that it will be well received as an opportunity for collectors to turn their surplus materials into cash. Something we can all use now and then. I think that the fee structure is reasonable. And the only reason there are fees is to support my web site and to discourage misuse. It's my intent to provide collectors with alternative avenues to ply their hobby and not as a commercial venture on my part. Sooo! If this interests you take a peek at http://auctions.blaisnstamps.net/
